Kolu Zigbi

Kolu Zigbi has 18 years of experience in the philanthropic sector providing technical assistance, and evaluating grassroots organizations working for equitable, sustainable food systems and environmental justice. Kolu is a co-founder and advisory committee member of Community Food Funders, an advisory council member of the Castanea Fellowship, a founding Board member of African Communities Together, and has long been an active member of Sustainable Agriculture and Food System Funders. Kolu holds a bachelor’s degree in rural development studies from Stanford University, and completed coursework for a master’s degree in city and regional planning from Cornell University, and as a Loeb Fellow holds a certificate of environmental studies from Harvard Graduate School of Design.
